YEETHER®
Privacy Policy
Your data. Your trust. Our responsibility.

We collect what we need to help you challenge, connect, and spark energy across the ether. We do not trade in your trust. Straight talk, no small print magic tricks.

1. Who We Are

We are Yeether® Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16118589. This Privacy Policy applies to our app, our website, our platform, and anything under the wider Yeether® umbrella.

When we say "we," "our," or "us," we mean the team building Yeether®. When we say "you," we mean every user across every Yorb®.

2. Our Lawful Basis For Collecting Your Data

Under the UK GDPR and its twin the EU GDPR, every bit of personal data we collect needs a legit reason. Here is how that plays out in Yeether®:

Contractual Necessity
Article 6.1(b)
We need some info to make the app work. Your phone number lets you log in, track challenges, and show up on the leaderboards. Without it, there would be no Yeether® magic.
Legitimate Interest
Article 6.1(f)
We analyse how the platform is used to deliver smoother load times, sharper safety tools, and smarter features. We only do this when it does not override your rights.
Explicit Consent
Article 6.1(a)
For anything extra, like watching ads for Yatoms®, we will ask you first. Change your mind? Just switch it off anytime.
Legal Obligation
Article 6.1(c)
Keeping records, flagging harmful content, or helping law enforcement in serious cases. Part of our duty to keep the ether safe and legal.

We do not force anything. You are in the driving seat.

We may use automated moderation tools to detect inappropriate content. These tools flag content but do not make final decisions without human review. We do not store your payment information. All in app purchases are handled securely by Apple Pay or Google Pay.

4. Why We Collect It

Here is how your data fuels the ether:

No Automation
Reject decisions made purely by automated systems that affect you legally or significantly.

If you feel your rights are not being respected, you can raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office via ico.org.uk.

To use any of these rights, drop us a line at drop@yeether.com. We will always respond within the legal timeframe.

6. How Long We Hold It

We only hold your data as long as needed to keep your account running, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes or abuse reports. If you delete your account, we begin the process of secure data deletion unless we need to retain some information for moderation, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.

Deactivation
You are frozen. No login, no activity. But your data remains.
Deletion
Your data is securely wiped, unless there is a reason to keep specific identifiers to stop repeat abuse, such as device fingerprinting after serious breaches.

7. Where Your Data Goes

Your data lives in the UK and EU. We work with trusted partners who help us host the app, send emails and texts, track performance, and support content moderation. These partners follow strict rules and are only allowed to process data on our behalf.

We do not sell or trade your data. If your data ever needs to cross outside the UK or EU we use Standard Contractual Clauses, encryption, or equivalent legal safeguards.

8. Legal Disclosures and Misuse Prevention

We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, including for legal obligations, government requests, or law enforcement investigations. This may happen in serious cases such as fraud, harm, or criminal activity. We do not do this lightly.

In cases of serious or repeated misconduct, we may retain limited identifiers solely to prevent re registration, ongoing abuse, or further misuse of the platform.

9. Kids and Age Limits

Yeether® is for ages 16+ only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 16. Every user must confirm they are 16+ before accessing the app, and we block access until they do. If someone misrepresents their age, we will remove their account.

10. Security Matters

We use encryption, access controls, and logs to keep your data secure. If something ever goes wrong, we will notify you and the regulators fast. We aim to report qualifying data breaches to the ICO within 72 hours, in line with UK law.

11. Cookies and Analytics

We do not use cookies in the app. Right now, we do not use any cookies on our website either. If that ever changes, we will update this section and let you know what is being used and why.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this policy ever changes, we will flag it in the app. You will need to accept the new version before continuing, or you can delete your account. No silent switches. Your version and acceptance date are logged.
